The Steering Group

So who is involved in this project?

Ultimately, we hope everybody in the area will be involved one way or another. Getting the pub open again is going to take considerable effort and it is going to need the majority of the people in the village to get involved in some way.

Thank you for the note. Good idea in principle. Has worked with the Shop@The Lee. Recommend you speak to Barnaby Usborne who runs that. I might be interested in supporting but would need to see more (business plan etc.) Also think £2000 might be too high a hurdle. Best wishes, John Ford

Thanks very much John. Your thoughts are very much appreciated. We will be providing more insight into the business plan a little later, once we have some idea of the level of funding we should expect to generate from the local community. We will be having a public meeting in the near future to review the progress with funding and provide more detail about the business plan. We will take up you suggestion to speak with Barnaby, if we have not already done so. Thanks again and do pop back to the site from time to time to catch up on the latest developments.
